Monday, January 25

Caller on Cross Street called and reported a possible mistreatment of a dog near Miller Field, 92 and ACO officer responding to the area.

Party reports some sections on Veterans Road still need to be cleared. DPW notified.

Party from Seal Harbor came in to report that her Verizon account was hacked. Officer will make out a report.

Caller reports construction equipment has traffic down to one lane on Pleasant Street, 92 is investigating. Officer took photos and issued a town citation as the area was very dangerous to traffic and fire could not get down Cottage Park Road. Fire was notified of the hazard and a safety officer was hired.

Officer went for a follow up investigation on Coral Avenue. Officer reports that no one was home.

Party from Johnson Avenue came in to report all kinds of things, but then left when we asked the victim of these things to come in. She said, when the time comes she will be the victim.

Report of a lockout on Washington Avenue. W91 responded along with fire to assist.

Reports of an alarm from the rear of Highland Convenient. W91 and K9 went to the area and checked from the front and the rear, gaining access from another business. All secure. Business is closed.

Reports of a possible trespasser at Seal Harbor property.

Tuesday, January 26

Motorist stopped for violation on Main and Fairview Street. Officer reports the driver is late for work. A verbal warning given and she was sent on her way.

Caller reports that an evergreen hanging plant has been taken from her property. The plant is estimated at $25. The party would like this matter on record as it is an ongoing matter. She was advised to come in to complete a formal report with any information to assist in resolving the matter if she wished.

967 and W93 reports a motor vehicle is creating a disturbance on Kennedy and Revere Street, by continually beeping the horn while in traffic for the school children. The officer will issue a citation.

Party reports a man sleeping in the back hallway on Golden Drive. Officer reports speaking with the party who is requesting EMS at this time. The party was transported to the hospital for an evaluation.

Caller called requesting a wellness check on a friend on Summit Avenue. The officer reports speaking with the female who does not seem to know that calling party but will contact her son who has the same last name.

Party on Beach road reports she is having a panic attack and needs to come to the station. Officer report speaking with the female who is apparently homeless. She will be transported here to make a few calls to friends for housing assistance.

Detective is off on a followup investigation on Shirley Street.

Party on Terrace Avenue reports that her BMW was keyed last night while parked in front of her house. The caller reports she suspects a neighbor due to recent problems. The car received multiple gouge marks. The party is not home now and will call or come to the station when she returns to she an officer make a report.

Party on Shore Drive reports the sidewalks around the corner on Beach Road have snow on the sidewalks and the owner never shovels the area. ACO will respond and will take enforcement action.

Caller reports he just was forced to go on the wrong side of the road to get by a large cement truck on Revere Street. Officer reports having the truck pulled off the roadway and will be finished in about 10 minutes. The driver called and was advised to stay out of the lane of traffic.

Party at Main and Fairview Street reports that two kids were observed ringing doorbells and running off toward East Boston. Officer reports three parties were going door to door soliciting for roof and gutter work. They will cease and their boss will get permission from the town hall and police chief to solicit.

Medical aid requested on Lincoln Street.

Another medical aid requested on Overlook Drive.

Male sophomore student called to report being “scammed” over the Internet for items that represent money. The caller has traced the alleged scammer to a West Springfield school where he is a student. He will speak with the SRO tomorrow regarding the information from the West Springfield school which is reportedly going to call him tomorrow.

Party reports being harassed by a former girlfriend who now lives in the Philippines. The party will come to in to complete a report but was advised for him to obtain an order it would be difficult to serve.

Party on Hawthorn Avenue came to the station to report that her daughter was missing. She walked away from a treatment facility in Haverhill on Sunday and no has seen or heard from her. She will go to district court in the morning for a warrant of apprehension. It was entered into NCIC.

Medical aid requested at Governors Park.

Party came to the station to report that her Uruguayan passport has been either stolen or lost sometime since January 1, 2016.

Caller report a man chasing kids who were going through his car at Centre and Hermon Street. They were last seen near Main. Officer found one juvenile suspects and placed him under arrest. The juvenile probation officer was contacted. The suspect was released to his grandfather. He will report to Chelsea Juvenile Court in the morning. He was taken in for breaking and entering in a vehicle in the nighttime and receiving stolen property under $250.

Party came to the station with her son to report an incident which took place at school. A representative of the school called her but she believed that there is more threats to her sonny would like the counsel of our SRO. A victim/witness statement and reporting party’s contact information forwarded to a detective.

Female party came to the station and requested to speak with an officer. Officer reports advising her of her rights in this civil matter. Off. Brown also contacted the other party, a familial member, who advised the woman is welcome back to the home.

Wednesday, January 27

Party reports observing a male party walking up Locust Street checking out car doors as he walks along and he also appears to be drunk. Officers report stopping a male subject nearby. The subject has an extensive BOP. Officers report investigating the area and parked motor vehicles. The subject was placed under arrest for two counts of breaking and entering into a boat and receiving stolen property under $250. The subject was transported to the station for booking.

Chelsea PD called requesting we send a unit by Lewis Avenue to check with the registered owner as to who has her motor vehicle. Officer reports the vehicle was stolen. The spare keys must have been removed from their other parked vehicle which was parked in their driveway. Chelsea PD has one subject under arrest and the stolen vehicle with keys in the ignition. The owners have come into the station to report it stolen and Chelsea will tow it to Todisco Towing for safe keeping. No damage observed on the vehicle.

A taxi driver reports he dropped of a fare on Shirley Street and they did not pay the driver and left. Officer attempted to locate the subject inside the multi unit dwelling to no avail. The driver was happy with the response and effort made. The driver desired the male party as a “tall built, Irish guy.” Officer was unable to locate the party and attempted to contact via cell phone left with the company. The number was not in service.

Reports of a car being entered into over night on Locust Street.

Senior Center called to report a large truck parked too close to the corner and the senior center bus will have a hard time making the turn. Officer had the vehicle moved.

Party on River Road reports that her vehicle was broken into overnight. Officer repots a few things taken from the vehicle and a report was generated.

Officers are trying to move two commercial vehicles from the sidewalk on Triton Avenue. He got the vehicles moved.

A party came in to the station to report giving a male $550 to clear her walkway, driveway and car. The party has not responded to clear her property and she can not get hi to answer the telephone she has for him. The resident sent several e-mails to the party and they have gone unanswered.

Reports of someone in the area of Revere Street. Fire notified and W91 responded to assist.

W97 reports a traffic problem near Mobile Mart. Officer reports the area is clear.

W97 chief reports a traffic tie up at the bridge on Main Street by the Mobil station. W92 responded and reports the area is all clear at a this time and traffic is moving.

Party on Shirley Street came to the station to report an ongoing harassment from her ex’s family. This time it is from her ex’s sister. This is the first incident committed by her, but she wants it logged.

Essex Regional Dispatch called reporting someone called from Veterans Road. This is an unknown problem. Officer responded and reports the party in the lobby just came here from Chelsea. He was helped to Orient Heights by the officer.

Thursday, January 28

Party came in to the station to report that she received an email back from the subject involved in an incident reported yesterday. The subject claims to have been fired from the company and therefore can’t perform the duties that he promised the party that he would do.

Party on Hawthorn Avenue reported that her daughter has been located. She was informed to report in person so that the locate can be removed from the missing person data.

Transfer from the State reporting that males are taking pictures with telephoto lens of planes and the caller believes that it is in East Boston. The caller was informed that the area is not in Winthrop and it is in East Boston. The call was transferred to Station 7 in East Boston and the caller was dropped or lost connection. The information was given to Station 7.

Reports of towing car from Governors Park for trespassing.

Medical request from Prospect Avenue for subject who has taken a bad fall. WFD/EMS notified.

Caller on Locust Street reports a dog on her porch with no collar. ACO contacted and is responding.

Caller from Cumberland Farms reports that there is a car parked in the handicap spot and does not have a placard. W93 dispatched and reports there are no violations in the area including the lot of Cumberland Farms.

Caller on Revere Street requests EMS for a customer.

Officer checked the occupants of a parked motor vehicle at Hannaford Park and had them move from the park.

Friday, January 29

A motorist was stopped for violations on Main Street. Officer reports verbal warning given for equipment violation.

Party on Bartlett Road is requesting EMS for his sick family member. Call transferred to EMD and WFD for service.

During the school crossing, two vehicles were observed taking a left hand turn from Revere Street onto Almont Street in violation of the posted signs during school hours. Both vehicles were observed taking these turns on previous occasions. Both vehicles were issued a town by law violation for $100.

A motor vehicle was parked in the handicap parking spot without a placard at the Crest Avenue parking lot. The operator of the vehicle stated that she was waiting for her husband and was “not parked”. Her husband was picking up food at a local establishment. The owner was issued a town by law violation for $100.

Visiting Nurse on Main Street is requesting medical.

A minor crash at the Dunkin Donuts on Revere Street. Officer assisted in exchange of paperwork.

ACO reports being off with an unruly dog owner on Shore Drive. W93 responded to assist the ACO who will be mailing a ticket out.

Female at Governors Park reports that she receive a message from the management that her condo was being broken into. W93 and W92 dispatched. A call to management revealed that the call was just to notify her that they were entering her apartment as there was a plumbing problem. Units cancelled.

Caller on River Road reports that her motor vehicle has been entered and items taken during last evening. Caller reports Verizon cell phone and some loose change was taken.

There is a male knocking on doors regarding roofing on Fairview Street. W93 and W94 responded and reports locating a party who was leaving flyers at hoes for carpentry work. The party was told to get a permit if he was speaking with residents. The party is a frequent worker in the area over many years.

Abandoned 911 call from Johnson Avenue. Call back three times to the residence and was hung up on but could hear a woman’s voice. Units were sent and when the woman answered the door, she did not make sense. Officers spoke to the woman who was having a problem with someone. There was a male on the scene and there was a dispute over property. Female will be leaving for a shelter later.

Party called regarding previous call to her residence. She expressed concern regarding a houseguest’s behavior and mentioned that she wants her to leave. The caller was advised of her rights to an order, restaining order, trespass or even an eviction depending on the circumstances.

Cardiology Associates of Greater Boston requests an ambulance for a patient.

Concierge at Seal Harbor reports Coast Guard Red Can #2 has broken free and is in the water behind the building. WFD notified and they have notified the Coast Guard.

Party involved in previous two calls came to the station with a report. She also reports that she is going to a shelter. She ranted a bit about the reason the police were at the home earlier and then left.

Reports of a male behind a building on Hermon Street. He was sent out of the area.

Female came to the station with a typed report with a handwritten message on the cover which was left at her house by a neighbor’s houseguest. The party was a bit concerned and would like it noted as she feels the female houseguest has issues and she is concerned. She will contact us if there are any more issues.

Party came to the station to report a past stolen vehicle that has been recovered in Chelsea. Officer took a report and will submit a report.

Party from Wave Way Avenue came to these station to report that he had a motor vehicle worth approximately $10,000 illegally repossessed by New England Auto Sales which is located in East Boston. He is working with GM Financial in order to clear the repossession from his credit report and they requested he report it to us.

Caller on Girdlestone Road reports that his wife’s artificial knee has cracked and he needs an ambulance. Transferred to EMS.

Party on Circuit Road reports coming home and finding that his house was broken into. Officers responded and cleared the house.

Reports of a house fire on Johnson Avenue. WFD notified. Officers report it is an active fire. The fire was extinguished.

Caller on Wilshire Street reports that her mother does not feel good and then I could hear her mother say she was fine and the caller wished to cancel the call. We verified identity and advised to call us immediately if the need arises.

Caller on Bowdoin Street reports that while walking her dog there were young adults causing a disturbance in front of the home. Units report area is quiet but will check the rear of the house. Units report a large group of underage kids inside home refusing to answer the door. Mother was contacted and will respond to the scene. Units report parents arriving on scene to take their kids home. Several young adults at the party were sent on their way.

Saturday, January 30

Caller on Bellevue Avenue delayed by a previous higher priority call reports seeing flaming sticks being thrown in the air. Units responded and report a party with a fire pit. They report speaking to the homeowner and having the fire pit extinguished.

Party on Bellevue Avenue reports a disturbance near a vehicle.

Lifeline on Golden Drive requests a lift assist for a male customer who is unable to help himself.

Caller on Revere Street reports that she came home and realized that her shoes as well as her daughter’s were missing from the hallway. She believes they were taken by the owner of her building after she made complaints against her living quarters. She will speak to her lawyer about the incident. The party was advised to contact the police if items were taken by the landlord indent returned.

Todisco Towing has a motor vehicle in tow for non-resident parking at Governors Drive.

Caller on Shirley Street repots that a neighbor is storing boats on his property and is questioning if there can be more than one boat per property.

Female on Cottage Park Road called to report that a neighbor is out side and needs help. EMS notified.

Report of a coyote on Revere Street in someone’s backyard. AO notified and reports the coyote was gone on his arrival.

Report of smoke in a building on Shirley Street. Fire notified.

ACO officer reports that the coyote in the previous call is on the porch on Revere Street and appears to be ill. 91 is responding to assist and EPA Police notified as well. ACO officer is resetting an additional unit to assist with the animal. 92 is responding. Animal is being brought to Lynn by the ACO officer for treatment.

Constable called to report that while he was doing an eviction on Walden Street, a firearm was found under the bed. Officer reports it is a pellet gun, not a firearm. Officer will bring it to the station.

Male caller at Viking Gardens reports someone has tried to get into several apartments and is now in one. He will be outside to show the officers. They report coming in with one under arrest for breaking and entering in the daytime and possession of burglary tools.

Male called to report that there is a male drinking out of a brown paper bag at French Square. Offers report the subject was sent on his way.

Dispatch reports a woman on Buchanan Street, yelling Everett Car Wash and hanging up the phone. No answer on call backs. Phone number and name of owner comes back to the same person who called last week yelling Seal Harbor. Officer checked out the area.

Caller on Myrtle Avenue reports that a tenant in her building is having a seizure. WFD notified and responded at this time.

Party at Viking Gardens called to report there are three males behind the building and appear to be “high on drugs.” Officers report searching the enter area and the surrounding area and no one was around.

Caller at Shirley Hardware reports seeing a female in front of the hardware store with bags and it looks as if she is hitchhiking. Unit reports no female in the area and may have possibly taken the bus.

Party from Fort Heath Apartments reports very loud music from another apartment. Party stated that this is very common and he will not answer the door. Officers report speaking with the caller and individual causing the disturbance. Subject will cease for the night and the caller was satisfied with the results.

Party from Johnson Avenue came in to the station to report that she received more messages from a party that lives on her street. These items will be given to the officer who took the initial call.

Caller on Pearl Avenue called to report that his daughter who is a runaway and in IMC may possibly be with a known female in our town. W91 reports checking several addresses and locating female’s address. Officer spoke to a father who does not believe runaway is with his daughter. He wants the father of runaway to all him and he will call his daughter to determine if they are together. Father notified by W91 and appreciates all of our help. Units will be on the lookout for the runaway.

Radio call from Boston PD to report that a motor vehicle struck a person and fled toward Winthrop. All units notified. Winthrop 98 located the vehicle with no one in it. It was found in East Boston. A7 was notified.

Reports of a dead tabby cat in the middle of Pleasant and Sunnyside Avenue. Units reports taking the animal off the road and on the side of Buchanan Street.

Sunday, January 31

Caller on Quincy Avenue states that two males subjects appear to be attempting to break into his vehicle. Units respond and report off with two subjects on Crest Avenue. Caller states similar incident in the past where he aught two subjects smoking inside his vehicle. It appears the same may have been the case tonight as there is an odor of smoke inside the vehicle.

Todisco Towing reported towing a vehicle from Governors Park for fire lane violations.

Party on Upland Road called to report that her vehicle was broken into. Officer reports she will make out a report. No other vehicle in the area appears to have been harmed.

Medical aid needed on Overlook Drive for party who is having trouble breathing. Fire and EMS will respond.

Fire alarms are going off on Putnam Street. Fire was notified.

Party at Fort Heath Apartments reports that someone is using an electric saw. Officer reports that someone was cutting to get ready for a job being done on Monday. He will wait until Monday.

Caller on Upland Road reports that a house guest had his vehicle broken into last night. Officer will make out an incident report.

Manager of Cumberland Farms reports they have a drunk in the store asking for an ambulance. Fire and EMS will handle and transport to the hospital.

Party on Pleasant Court called to report that kids are playing street hockey and the ball has hit his car. Officer reports the ball being used is very soft, but the kids will move down a little.

A man fell down the stairs on Pleasant Street. 92 Freeman and WFD notified. 92 reports 80 year old to MGH.

Caller reports he is being followed by another vehicle near Pleasant Park Yacht Club. He thinks the person waved a gun at him from the car. Officer will speak to him. Officers report caller did not see a gun but was worried he may have one. Only description was a mini van. The officer searched the area.

Party on Payson Street came in to report a phone scam that stated “your son has been kidnapped and we need money to get him out.” Party sounded a Spanish accent. He was advised of current phone scams that are going around.

Caller on Court Road reports a female in and out of driveways and yards. 91 Ramadani and 92 Connolly report a cat walker again and again denies all. She was warned again.
