Monday, January 28

Custodian of Senior Center requests WFD respond for a strong odor of gas inside the building due to the stove burner. WFD notified and responded.

Caller reports a strong odor of gas near tennis courts on Ocean View Street. WFD notified as well as National Grid.

Party on Dolphin Avenue reports he is the defendant of an active 209A and the female plaintiff keeps calling and texting him. He produced a copy of the active order valid on its face until 2-4-13. He estimated approximately 40 calls to his cell phone over the weekend. Message left on her cell phone to stop contacting the defendant. 91 also went by her residence and advised her to stop contacting him.

Party reports his boxer mix on Harbor View Avenue escaped from his property. He will be searching for the beast if anyone comes into contact with him. ACO not responding.

Caller on Shirley Street reports that his mother-in-law has not had heat for four days and it doesn’t appear it is going to be repaired soon. Health officer Moore will be checking on the complaint this afternoon.

Party on Beacon Street called to report that she is being threatened by a roommate. The subject roommate called 911 as well. Officers report speaking with all parties involved and advised them of their rights.

91 will attempt to serve in hand a summons for female on Bowdoin Street. 91 reports no service at first attempt.

Party on Sargent Street reports that she just went into her home and it appears that someone broke in. Officer reports forced entry through a side door.

Caller reports that a taxi driver just spit in his face after having words. Officer report questioning both parties and after further investigation, they have decided to hug and drop the matter.

Party on Beacon Street reports the male roommate just arrived home and spit at her and made several threats.

Manhole cover off on Grandview Avenue. Officer reports unable to fix. DPW notified and will respond.

Tuesday, January 29

Officers will try to serve female on Pleasant Street a 209A issued by the EB Court. They report served in hand and she is taking some belongings.

Call from Amesbury Police to contact a female who may currently be on Dix Street. Units report no response at address. Female is a missing person.

Officer again will try to serve female on Bowdoin Street a summons issued by the Salem Court. He reports no one home.

Call from Framingham PD requesting a notification to one person on Locust Street relative to a motor vehicle sales transaction.

Call from Mermaid Avenue that someone is making threats to harm the property or the people in it. Officer reports no threats, just a series of telephone calls but does not want to proceed with any charges at this time. Just wanted it noted.

Amesbury Police called to inform us that the missing female they were called to check on has been located from earlier today.

91 Curran has a male on Washington Avenue on an EBDC warrant for failure to appear.

Male reports domestic upstairs on Crest Avenue apartment. Officers report male will leave. Verbal only.

Report of a male lying in the snow on Douglas Street. EMS and Action will take him to MGH.

Wednesday, January 30

Female called to report that a male is in the Cumberland Farms and the kids are going to school. Officer reports he was not in the area of Cumberland Farms. Officer went to his house and he was there. Male said he just went for smokes. Male is not to be within 75 feet of a school and not in any area where children are walking to and from school in the morning and afternoon.

Officer will again try to serve female on Bowdoin Street a summons issued by the Salem Court. He reports serving it in hand.

Clerk from the Quick Foodmart called to report he was threatened by a customer.

Cummings School called to report a homeless man down in the basketball courts. Officer reports the person is gone, a check of the area was to no avail.

Mother from Governors Park came to the station with her 14-year-old daughter to make a report regarding her daughter being followed.

Male called to report that he was watching the news and just saw a report of a robbery to a convenience store in Allston in which a picture of the possible suspect was shown. Caller stated that he could identify the suspect, but he wished to remain anonymous. Boston PD was notified and all the information was passed on.

Thursday, January 31

Caller reports a large tree branch has fallen on two parked vehicles on Veterans Road. Officer reports there is damage to both.

Male on Shirley Street came to the station to report that he moved into his apartment in November with his girlfriend. On December 23, when he came home, all his belongings were piled in the hallway. When he went into the apartment female took his keys and told him to leave. She has another roommate living there now. He has left messages with the owner of the building to take his name off of the lease, but he has not called him back. It was suggested he check with the East Boston Court on his rights.

Female on Moore Street came to the station to report that last Friday she notified that her driver’s license and social security card were missing. She just wanted this recorded.

Units report executing a warrant and placing male on Winthrop Street into custody.

Two motorists from out of state came in at different times and requested temporary parking passes for home on Lowell Road. One wanted the pass for three months and the other wanted his pass extended for the same time. Upon further investigation it was determined that the property owner/manager is running a boarding house there and telling his boarders to request parking passes for their stay in Winthrop. One told me he was a student and has lived there for a couple of months. This should be checked out by the building inspector and desk officers should be aware of parking pass scammers at that location.

Friday, February 1

Lt. Perrin and Off. Callinan are off to Whittier Street on an investigation. They are not going to another location. Unit request a marked unit as they are with a subject the “T” Police wants arrested for an un-armed robbery.

Female on Shirley Street came to the station to explain that she is being called over and over by a male in East Boston. She is also afraid of him. She was instructed to go to the EB Court for a 209A and then come back her for a report of harassing phone calls. If court cannot handle a 209A at this time, we can do it after the harassing phone call report. 209A was issued by the court and faxed to us.

Innkeeper of the Arms Hotel came in to report that two tenants have defrauded the Arms Hotel.

Male on Circuit Road called to report that a group of youths keep coming on his property and porch and ringing his bell. He reports they have destroyed his property. After inquiring, the property destruction may have occurred in the past. W92 Off. Brown responded and reports speaking with the caller and will check the area. Group of possibly 7 males, one with a white sweatshirt, approximately between the ages of 14 and 17.

Officer request other units as he is off with arrest of operator for unlicensed operation of car. Charges: operating recklessly so as to endanger, marked lanes violation, and unlicensed operation of motor vehicle.

Caller on Lorean Terrace reports that two people are going from his elderly neighbor’s house. Officers report they were the house cleaners and they brought the owner a new TV and were dropping it off and installing it for her.

Saturday, February 2

Party on Bates Avenue reports that someone dumped building materials in front of her vacant home. DPW notified of the matter.

Father reports that he is supposed to pick up his child in accordance with a court order issued by the Middlesex Probate Court but the mother on Linden Street will not allow him to. He was advised this is a violation of a court order and to inform his attorney of the matter as well.

WFD called to report that a male was down on Winthrop Street. EMS enroute. Officer reports party has been medically cleared so he will be transported back to his home at Golden Drive.

Party reports a male wearing a dark coat with a hood going through the rubbish container(s) outside the insurance business on Shirley Street. 93 reports speaking with the business owner who was cleaning out some items.

Caller from Fort Heath Apartments reports a domestic in progress. Officers report not a domestic, a medical aid. Party transported to MGH.

Sunday, February 3

Parking officer request another unit for unhappy violator on Shirley Street. Party agreed to go home for the night.

Party reports a small green tractor is being operated on Sunnyside Avenue going the wrong way and then turned onto Corinha Beach Road. Officer reports warning the party that he cannot operate on the public way.

Neighbor on Crest Avenue reports that two are fighting in another apartment. Officer request a check on a male with an outstanding warrant. He was placed under arrest. Cross complaints will also be taken out on two males for assault and battery.
