May 23

11:30 a.m. — A woman brought in a set of keys she found for safekeeping.

3:46 —  A caller reports that a car is being operated erratically in the area of Revere Street and Crest Avenue.

4:45 p.m. — An Ingleside Avenue resident reports that someone stole an aluminum sink, valued at approximately $400, off of her porch.

8:59 p.m. — A caller reports that her ex son-in-law was bothering her. She will call back if he returns, as well as seek a restraining order in East Boston District Court.

May 24

12:41 a.m. — A Revere Street resident reports her car was possibly vandalized while it was parked on Locust Street. The car sustained dents and scratches to the rear driver’s side door.

10:50 a.m. — A resident calls to report that he saw a male who lives on Loring Road take an antique bathtub from his neighbor’s yard.

11:50 a.m. — Stephen Hines, 48, of Winthrop, was arrested on two outstanding warrants.

12:45 p.m. — Rick Silva, 44, of Revere, was arrested on two outstanding traffic warrants after he was stopped for speeding on Shirley Street.

2:03 p.m. — A driver is cited for speeding on Tafts Avenue.

2:07 p.m. —  A driver is cited for a stop sign violation Shirley Street.

2:59 p.m. — A driver is cited for a stop sign violation Shirley Street.

6:22 p.m. —  A driver is cited for a seat belt violation on Washington Avenue.

7:04 p.m. —  A driver is cited for a red light violation on Main Street.

8:24 p.m. — A driver is cited for a one way violation on Washington Avenue.

9:23 p.m. —  A father calls asking that WPD check on his 5-year-old daughter, as her mother isn’t answering her phone. Officers check, and find the daughter safe and asleep and the home in fine condition.

9:51 p.m. — A driver is cited for speeding on Argyle Street.

10:19 p.m. — Officers break up a party, and have the kids on scene extinguish an outdoor fire, on Terrace Avenue.

11:03 p.m. — A group of eight is sent from Halford Beach.

11:09 p.m. — Officers disperse a group of kids from a Jefferson Street residence.

11:42 p.m. — Officers disperse a group of kids from Yirrell Beach.

May 25

12:45 a.m. — A group of kids is dispersed from a Jefferson Street residence.

4:25 a.m. — Officers ask a Revere Street residence to turn down his television.

6:43 a.m. — A Russell Street resident reports a sick opossum on his front porch. The ACO is notified. In the meantime, the resident can leave via a backdoor.

7:47 a.m. — A driver is cited for a stop sign violation on Revere Street.

7:57 a.m. —  A driver is cited for a stop sign violation on Revere Street.

8:08 a.m. — A Circuit Road resident reports an incident of larceny.

8:33 a.m. —  A driver is cited for a stop sign violation on Shirley Street.

8:45 a.m. — A driver is cited for a red light violation on Revere Street.

9:03 a.m. — A driver is cited for a red light violation on Revere Street.

10:07 a.m. — A driver is cited fir a stop sign violation at Shirley Street and Bayview Avenue.

10:59 a.m. — A driver is cited for a stop sign violation at Walden and Lincoln streets.

11:21 a.m. — A driver is cited for a stop sign violation on Revere and Shirley streets.

11:45 a.m. — A driver is cited for a stop sign violation on Cliff Avenue.

11:54 a.m. —  A driver is cited for a stop sign violation on Cliff Avenue.

12:53 — A caller asks WPD to check on his girlfriend, who is says has been having with an ex-boyfriend of late. She is contacted and everything is OK.

1:22 p.m. — An Irwin Street resident reports the theft of a scooter.

2:26 p.m. — A woman came into the station to report her purse was lost or stolen on May 12.

2:30 p.m. — An officer disposes of a hypodermic needle that was found on Sargent Street.

8:57 p.m. — Officers breakup a rooftop party on Jefferson Street.

9:16 a.m. — A caller reports a possible phone scam in which the caller asks for a $150 via transfer in exchange for a $2 million prize.

10:51 p.m. — A driver is cited for a seat belt violation on Tafts Avenue.

10:58 p.m. — A driver is cited for a seat belt violation on Revere Street.

11:03 p.m. —  A driver is cited for a an inspection sticker violation on Revere Street.

11:08 p.m. —  A driver is cited for a lights violation on Revere Street.

11:13 p.m. —  A driver is cited for red light and seat belt violations on Revere Street.

11:17 p.m. —  A driver is cited for a seat belt violation on Revere Street.

11:19 p.m. —  A caller reports a man wearing black pants and a white shirt is looking into cars. Officers can’t find the subject.

11:21 p.m. — A driver is cited for a seat belt violation on Revere Street.

11:26 p.m. —  A driver is cited for inspection and seat belt violations on Veterans Road.

11:30 p.m. A driver is cited for a stop sign violation on Shirley Street.

May 26

9:36 a.m. — WPD fields several calls about an ongoing domestic dispute on Shore Drive. It was a verbal dispute, and one of the parties left the area.

10:06 a.m. — A driver is cited for inspection sticker and seat belt violations in Thornton Park.

11:26 a.m. — Officers respond to a domestic dispute on Shore Drive, and issue trespass notices are given to two of the people at the scene.

1:46 p.m. — A Fremont Street resident reports the theft of a digital camera and two lens attachments.

3:21 p.m. —  A group of kids is dispersed from Trident Avenue.

3:26 p.m. — A Wheelock Street resident reports a telephone scam involving a caller promising a $2.5 million prize in exchange for a $150 wire transfer.

3:43 p.m. — Eugen Kapllani, 19, of Winthrop, was arrested and charged with a marked lane violation, a seat belt violation, and operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

4:03 p.m. — A caller reports a dog was struck by a car at Bates Avenue and River Road.

9:23 p.m. — Officers respond to Michael’s Mall, where an intoxicated customer is reportedly harassing customers; they send the man home.

11:06 p.m. — A group if kids is dispersed from the tennis courts on Main Street.

May 27

1:48 a.m. — A group is dispersed from Shore Drive.

2:47 a.m. — Officer Carter finds the cars in the ignition of an idling car on Bellevue Avenue. He leaves a note for the owner and brings the keys to the station.

7:55 a.m. — A caller reports a domestic situation is ongoing on Main Street. It was a verbal dispute and all parties were advised of their rights.

8:37 — A North Avenue resident reports that someone dumped a black recliner in the street. The DPW is notified.

10:34 a.m. — A Shore Drive landlord reports possible drug use in one of his apartments, but officers don’t find anything illegal or suspicious.

2:15 p.m. — WPD receives several calls about a pit bull wandering on Shirley Street.

10:51 p.m. — A caller from the Massa Playground reports fireworks are going off in the area. Call turns out to be unfounded.

11:10 p.m. — Officers quiet down a party on Beal Street.

11:16 p.m. — Officers break up two groups of people that were having an argument near Michael’s Mall and Nick’s.

May 28

1:03 a.m. —A call of a fight on Washington Avenue turns out to be unfounded.

1:30 a.m. — Officers respond to Jefferson Avenue, where residents are complaining about the noise coming from at apartment at 12 Jefferson.

1:54 a.m. — Officers respond to a verbal domestic dispute on River Road.

2:30 a.m. —Officers disperse a group of youths from the basketball courts at the Cummings School.

11:43 a.m. — David Petruccelli, 32, of Winthrop, was arrested and charged with domestic assault and battery/authority under 209-A-6, following a call to a River Road home. The female victim was taken to Whidden Hospital.

9:46 p.m. —James MacDonald, 22, of Winthrop, was arrested on two outstanding warrants.

10:47 p.m. — Officers put out a small beach fire on Shirley Street and send three people on their way.

11:10 p.m. — Units respond to a verbal dispute on Putnam Street.
