WHS athletes report for 2026 fall season
Winthrop High athletes reported for tryouts and practices for the 2026 sports season this past Monday.
As usual, the Viking golf team will get the fall sports season into the swing of things, with matches scheduled for September 1 at Northeast Regional and on September 3 at the Winthrop Golf Club vs. Saugus.
All of the other Viking teams will get their 2026 campaigns underway after Labor Day, with the girls and boys soccer teams kicking things off with matches vs. Revere on Tuesday, September 8.
