Winthrop Police Cadets earn third-place at annual Law Enforcement Stations Day

On Saturday, May 30, 2026, the Winthrop Police Cadets participated in the 28th Annual Law Enforcement Stations Day at the Municipal Police Training Committee (MPTC) Training Facility in Lynnfield.

The event, hosted by members of Scouting America Greater Boston in partnership with the Municipal Police Training Committee, brought together more than 100 police cadets from across Massachusetts for a day dedicated to leadership development, public safety education, and career exploration.

Cadets took part in a variety of hands-on, scenario-based training exercises, friendly competitions, and interactive learning opportunities led by experienced public safety professionals. The event was designed to inspire and prepare the next generation of law enforcement and public safety leaders while providing participants with valuable real-world experience.

The Winthrop Police Cadets delivered an outstanding performance throughout the day, earning third place overall among participating cadet posts. In addition to their overall team achievement, the cadets also received recognition in several individual and team-based competitions.

The Winthrop Police Department congratulates its cadets on their hard work, dedication, and professionalism. Their success reflects the commitment they have shown to developing the skills, leadership qualities, and teamwork that are essential in public service.
