He says “This positive relationship doesn’t happen in all communities. Housing authorities are state agencies, while town departments are town agencies sometimes have conflicting interests. However, In Winthrop, the spirit of cooperation between our town departments and the housing authority is outstanding and commendable.”

Peter and his late wife Maureen, both lifelong Winthrop residents, raised their four children; Brian Gill, Lisa Gill Howard, Brendan Gill, and Gretchen Duffy here in Winthrop. They have  been blessed with ten grandchildren and now four great grandchildren.

Peter says “I feel my professional experience and my town service, most recently as Town Council President and on the Housing Authority, give me the skills that will allow me to be effective in supporting our Housing Authority – our staff and our residents.

Peter says “I would much appreciate your support and vote as I pursue the opportunity to continue to serve as member of the Winthrop Housing Authority. Thank You”
