Congratulations, Joe Domelowicz

We join the residents of Winthrop, town officials, and town government employees in offering our congratulations to Assistant Town Manager Joseph Domelowicz Jr. on his appointment as the new town manager of Hamilton.

Joe has worked hard to achieve this major step in his professional career. He has been a dedicated and diligent grants administrator and assistant town manager in the Winthrop town manager’s office for the past six years. Joe has been a valuable member of the town’s management team, having been instrumental in securing funding through his superior grant-writing skills and then seeing the projects through to their completion.

He is well-known for being accessible to town residents and responsive when town councillors or other officials have sought out his advice, assistance, or expertise.

It’s also become quite clear how much Joe has come to love the town of Winthrop and its residents, first in his role as a reporter for the Sun-Transcript (and he was great at that, too) and later in his key administrative positions in town government.

We thank Joe for all he has done to help make Winthrop an even better town.

With his outstanding educational background that includes a master’s in public affairs from the McCormack Graduate School at UMass/Boston and his years of experience in municipal government, Joe is an excellent choice to lead the town of Hamilton in its highest position. We’re sure he will make a positive impact on the lives of Hamilton residents, just as he has done in Winthrop.

Thank you, Joe, for being a professional, hard-working, and dedicated administrator in Winthrop and we wish you continued success in Hamilton.

We know that your family is so proud of you as a husband, father, son, and brother, and we too, are so proud as well.
