WAA to Host ‘Art in the Park’ This Saturday
The Winthrop Art Association invites the community to celebrate summer and local creativity at its upcoming “Art in the Park” event on Saturday, July 18. The gathering will take place at Crest Avenue Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will feature live music by John and Lori Wadkins.
The event is free to attend, and community members are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket to sit back, relax, and enjoy the afternoon. It offers a perfect opportunity for the whole family to soak up the sunshine, connect with neighbors, and meet local artists.
Beyond celebrating the season, Art in the Park serves a vital role in supporting the neighborhood. The Winthrop Art Association is dedicated to strengthening the community and supporting local businesses, with events like this helping to fund art programs and provide essential supplies for students in local schools.
