We wish to briefly mention the recent 18 for 9 Golf Tournament at the Winthrop Golf Club that raised funds for the Coach Robert DeFelice Student-Athlete Scholarship at Winthrop High School.
Bob DeFelice was a legend who was a part of the fabric of our community for decades. We know he would have been both pleased and proud with the support that his family, friends, and former players showed for future Winthrop student-athletes at an event that epitomized what makes Winthrop such a special place.
