COA Collects for MVES

Mystic Valley Elder Services (MVES) offers its thanks to the Winthrop Council on Aging (COA), which recently led a collection to benefit the Emergency Closet at MVES. The
Emergency Closet enables MVES care managers to provide
essential items such as sheets, towels, and toiletries to low-income older adults and people with disabilities. COA Director Kathryn Dixon, who is also an MVES board member, spearheaded the drive. Pictured are MVES Development Director Jenny Vanasse and Development Coordinator Lisa McGovern with the newly restocked Closet.
