WHS Students Receive John and Abigail Adams Scholarship

The Winthrop School Committee is proud to announce this year’s recipients of the Abigail Adams Scholarship. The students were also awarded a citation by the Winthrop Town Council.

 These outstanding students have demonstrated a dedication to academics and a commitment to reaching high standards of learning.

The John and Abigail Adams Scholarship is a merit-based program that provides a credit toward tuition for up to eight semesters of undergraduate education at a Massachusetts state college or university. For this scholarship, merit is based on student scores on the 10th grade Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System (MCAS) test.
