Since August 2, 1992, the staff at Championship Physical Therapy have been helping patients from all ages overcome orthopedic injuries and achieve pain relief. Over the years, owner Bill Squires and his passionate staff have built a clientele while remaining invested in local charities and active at the Senior Center. Like many small businesses in town, the staff at Championship have enjoyed treating generation after generation, witnessing the growth and expansion of families over the years.
range of injuries that the staff deals with is widespread including: knee/hip replacements, work-related injuries, sports and auto injuries, hand and carpal tunnel syndrome, physical therapy for pre/post-partum and low-risk pregnancies, back surgeries, myofascial syndrome, post-surgical care, gait training/balance, foot pain, rotator cuff/shoulder surgery, neck and lower back pain.
Like all businesses, Championship Physical Therapy had to close down at the start of the pandemic, however; they re-opened on August 3, with all the safety protocols in place, readily available to treat their patients in a safe environment.
“Fortunately, our clients remained loyal and returned to Championship PT when we reopened for their physical therapy needs,†said Squires. “As always, our patients’ health, care and safety are our number one priority. We are extremely grateful for the continued support from the Winthrop community.â€
