- Continued growth for the boys and girls Lacrosse teams at WHS
- Another NEC title for coach Dale Dunbar’s hockey team!
- A track for Viking athletes – like a new Miller Field, the town must vote for the new facility!
- Another Viking football all-scholastic to follow Chris Beranger and Sean Gillis
- A super bowl title for the New England Patriots
- An MIAA playoff berth for new coach John Gambale
- A fourth win in a row for coach Driscoll vs. the Big Blue in football
- An injury free season for the 2016 V icings football team – that could produce a championship team
- Another MIAA team for the Lady Bulldogs – “Who let the Dawgs out? Let’s hear that cheer again in 2016!
- A return of “Mr. Soundman†– Angelo Vigliotta, to the press box for the football season
- A return of a Al Petrilli and Gus Martucci to coach the Vikings Powder Puff team
- A salute to Viking TV producer Michael Mahoney
- A Lady Vikings victory over Swampscott in the new high school gym next season
- A new Miller Field for Lacrosse!
- Another ‘Turkey Day’ victory over Revere in the new Harry Della Russo Stadium in Revere “Same stadium – Same results!
- More victories over Marblehead and Swampscott in all Viking sports!
- Another trip to the MIAA Tourney and another hockey title for the hardest working Viking coach – Butch Martucci and his Lady Bulldogs
- Will the boy’s basketball team win a game in the Memorial Gym? (circa 1955)
- Building a strong girls program for new co ach John Gambale. A return to prominence held by all the Viking hoop teams
- ‘It takes a village’ let’s sup port all the Viking teams in 2016!
- Can hardly wait until we play in the new gym in the high school. What will the new gym be named?

- One more football season at legendary Miller Field in 2016, before construction begins on the new Miller Field and Track.

- The return of the Winthrop high school Hall of Fame in November
