Two of our residents will be in the television spotlight over the next few days. James Crosby, a young Marine whose spinal cord was damaged in Iraq, will be featured on a NECN (New England Cable News) documentary, “Aftermath” that will premiere on Monday, May 4, at 7 p.m. on the cable news channel.
Pat Pumphret, a caregiver, has been selected as one of 10 finalists in CVS Pharmacy’s “For All the Ways You Care” contest. Pumphret will be recognized for her 30-plus years as a provider and foster parent for severely disabled and chronically ill children. Pumphret will appear with the other finalists on ABC’s “Good Morning America” show on Monday, May 4.
We look forward to viewing the events and the positive light in which our town glows because of these two individuals.
