Olympic gold medalist Mike Eruzione and his wife, Donna Eruzione, made a very generous $10,000 donation on behalf of the family’s Winthrop Charities organization to the Winthrop Public Schools. The funds will be used to purchase additional defibrillators for the school district so it can expand the number of units in each school building, along with portable devices that will be available for use in case of a medical emergency at all home and away sporting events.
