Please join me in congratulating the Winthrop High School Class of 2021 by inviting residents to contribute to the Rona Mael Town Scholarship!
Each year, this coveted award, the only scholarship from the Town of Winthrop, is presented at graduation to a deserving student. The Winthrop Scholarship Committee wants you to know that there is still time to contribute to our town scholarship, named after Rona Mael, a much beloved high school educator and community activist who served on the scholarship committee since 1980 until her death a few years ago.
Donations to the Rona Mael Town Scholarship may be made by sending a check to the Winthrop Tax Collector’s Office, Town Hall, One Metcalf Square, Winthrop, MA 02152. Please make checks payable to Town of Winthrop, indicating Rona Mael Town Scholarship on the memo line.
Please join us in continuing Rona Mael’s passion for connecting students to funding for their educational needs!
