Our well-known community leader, Mary Lou Osborne, informed us that Tom Derderian, an authority on the Boston Marathon, will be speaking at the Winthrop Public Library on Thursday, April 2, at 6 p.m. Tom has written books about the Marathon and is considered an expert in his field. This should be quite an event as Boston prepares to host the 119th Marathon Patriots Day, Monday, April 20.
