This Saturday evening will be a hockey enthusiast’s delight when the Winthrop girls and boys hockey teams take to the ice at 5:00 and 7:00 respectively at Larsen Rink. Although there no doubt will be separate admissions for the games, we hope that fans for both teams will come and watch the other’s.
It is not often that the boys and girls play on the same Saturday night, so if you and your kids are into high school hockey, this is the perfect night to catch both teams, which as of this writing are undefeated under girls’ head coach Anthony Martucci and boys’ coach Dale Dunbar.
