Olga Elliott

Of Swampscott, formerly of East Boston and Winthrop

Olga S. Elliott of Swampscott, formerly of East Boston and Winthrop, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 17 at 96 years of age.

The beloved wife of the late John Walker Elliott Sr. and the loving daughter of the late Ettore and Rachelina (LaPegna) DeRota, she was the devoted mother of Carol St. John and her husband, Laurence of Swampscott, David Elliott and his wife, Patricia of Beverly, Thomas Elliott and his wife, Jennifer of Lynnfield, Robert Elliott and wife Rita  and Wayne Elliott, all of East Boston and the late John W. Elliott Jr. and his surviving wife, Evelyn of Rockland; dear sister of the late Mary Kovacev, Clara Marcucella, Ralph DeRota, Victoria Boniface and Lydia Spoletti, the cherished grandmother of several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and she is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor Olga’s life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street, (Orient Heights) East Boston, on Monday, November 27th from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint John’s the Evangelist ~ Saint Michael the Archangel Church, Winthrop, at 12 Noon. Pearlie Elizabeth Neill

Retired Airline Ticket Agent

Pearlie Elizabeth Neill of Winthrop, formerly of Cullman, AL, passed away on November 14. She was 85 years old.

The beloved wife of Jacqueline J. Roman. Born in Cullman, AL, Pearlie was the cherished daughter of the late Rev. Ernest E. Neill and Willie Mae (Owen) Freeman.

Prior to her retirement, Pearlie worked as a reservationist and ticket agent for National Airlines and Pan American Airlines in New York City and then for Delta Airlines in Boston.

Pearlie was the dear sister of the late Charles, Robert and Walter Neill. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews in Alabama.

Suzanne Claire Inzirillo

Retired Social Worker Who Offered Unwavering Support and Compassion to Those in Need

Suzanne Claire Inzirillo, a cherished resident of Winthrop-Point Shirley and formerly of West Roxbury/Dedham, peacefully passed away on November 12.

Born in Boston, the beloved daughter of James A. and Mary Leonard, Suzanne shared 45 beautiful years of marriage with her late husband, Frank H. Inzirillo, who passed away in 2005. Suzanne and Frank’s union in 1960 marked the beginning of a beautiful journey filled with love that left a lasting legacy for all who knew them.

During her career as a social worker, Suzanne touched the lives of many, offering unwavering support and compassion to those in need. Her impact on the community resonates through the countless lives she positively influenced.

Nana, as she is known by most, found immense joy in being a devoted mother, grandmother and more recently, a Great-Nana. Her caring presence extended far beyond her immediate family, as she embraced the role of Nana to many others in the community. She cherished moments reading and delighted in cooking for her family and friends.

Suzanne’s memory will be forever cherished by her children: Lisa Farrell and Frank Inzirillo and his wife, Jean Inzirillo; her grandchildren: Dylan, Shannon, Frank, Matthew, Julia, Kate and great-grandchild, Josie.

A funeral service honoring Suzanne’s remarkable life will be held on December 9 at 10 a.m. at St. John The Evangelist Church, 320 Winthrop St, Winthrop, MA 02152

A Celebration of Life will immediately follow at the Winthrop Elks, 191 Washington Ave, Winthrop, MA 02152
