‘I Like Mike’ fundraiser on March 16th
It’s been two months since the sudden passing of Precinct 1 Councilor Michael McDuffee. As his family and friends continue to face the grief from his loss, they will be celebrating his life on March 16 at a hockey tournament and fundraising event at the Larsen Rink and Winthrop Yacht Club.
A $20 donation will allow access to the hockey tournament starting at noon at the Larsen Rink, followed by a celebration at the Winthrop Yacht Club at 7 p.m. Tickets can also be used as one raffle entry.
The “I Like Mike” celebration will include a cash bar, silent auction, and additional raffles and all donations will benefit Mike’s wife, Joanne.
Tickets can be purchased at The Winthrop Book Depot, Ace Hardware, the Larsen Rink, the Winthrop Yacht Club, and the Mobil station.
For more information, please contact: Bob McDuffee at: 617-291-3254.
