Those who didn’t get a chance to share their two cents on the $1 billion casino proposal by Mohegan Sun last month will get another shot on July 15 in the Revere High School Auditorium.
According to the MGC, the purpose of this hearing is solely to provide an opportunity for those members of the public who signed up to speak at the June 24 hearing, but were not given the opportunity to provide input to the Commission. A list of the people who signed up to speak but did not have the opportunity to speak is available and speakers will be limited to those whose names appear on that list.
The list, which is available at the MGC website, is a healthy mix of anti-casino and pro-casino speakers.
In order to use the available time most efficiently, the Commission will limit each speaker to four minutes.
The meeting will take place from 4-7 p.m.
