The Winthrop Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting at the new home of the Winthrop School of Performing Arts, located on the third floor of the E.B. Newton School on Pauline Street. Now in their 26th year, WSPA offers classes in dance, acting, voice, and musical instruments as well as Zumba, the latest
exercise craze. Here outside the school: Jim Marr, Chamber President Bernice MacIntyre, WSPA Director Trudy Macero, Chris Millerick, Dr. Paul McGee, and Eric Gaynor.
