Brooke Costin graduates from the University of Rhode Island

Brooke Costin of Winthrop is among the University of Rhode Island’s newest alumni. URI celebrated more than 3,500 of its newest alumni during the University’s 2025 Commencement. Nearly 3,600 undergraduate degrees and 600 graduate degrees were conveyed to students during the ceremonies which took place May 16-18, 2025.

Costin received a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering .

Students who received the honor summa cum laude graduated with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.7; students who received the honor of magna cum laude graduated with a GPA of at least 3.50; and students who received the honor of cum laude graduated with a GPA of at least 3.3.

UAlbany Recognizes Kevin Gil for Spring 2025 Dean’s List

The University at Albany has recognized Kevin Gil for selection to the Spring 2025 Dean’s List.

The Dean’s List at the University at Albany recognizes the outstanding academic achievements of full-time undergraduate students.

To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must earn a grade point average (GPA) of 3.25 or higher in their first semester of study and a GPA of 3.50 or higher in subsequent semesters.

Local Emerson College Students Earn Dean’s List Honors for Spring 2025 Semester

The following Winthrop student was  named to Emerson College’s Dean’s List for the Spring 2025 semester. To make the Dean’s List, students must have a grade point average of 3.7 or higher for that semester.

Abigayle Arsenault of Winthrop is majoring in Creative Writing BFA and is a member of the Class of 2025.

UTampa Student, Liliana Napoli, Earned Dean’s List Honors

Liliana Napoli, of Winthrop, earned dean’s list honors at University of Tampa as a Senior in the Spring 2025 semester. Napoli is majoring in Nursing BSN. Students must maintain a GPA of 3.75 or higher to be eligible for the dean’s list.

Roger Williams University Announces Spring 2025 Dean’s List

 Select students have been named to the Spring 2025 Dean’s List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean’s List that semester.

Local Student Named to St. Lawrence University’s Spring 2025 Dean’s List

 Gemma DiMento from Winthrop has been named to St. Lawrence University’s Dean’s List for achieving academic excellence during the Spring 2025 semester.

DiMento is a member of the Class of 2025 and is majoring in biomedical sciences. DiMento attended Winthrop High School.

To be eligible for the Dean’s List, a student must have completed at least four courses and have an academic average of 3.6 based on a 4.0 scale for the semester.
