Joseph Costanzo

Retiree of Local 22

Joseph Costanzo of Winthrop, formerly of East Boston, passed away at home on October 29. He was 93 years old.

Born in East Boston, the beloved son of the late Francesca (Arrigo) and Giovanni Costanzo, he was a resident of Winthrop for over 50 years, he worked as a laborer for Local 22. He was also a member of the National Guard.

He was the devoted husband of the late Josephine (Olivieri) and the loving father of Francine Pappas Mariano and her husband, Richard and Maria DelPapa and her husband, Joseph, all of Danville, NH, John Costanzo of Winthrop, Debra Crescente and her husband, Anthony of Medford and Joseph Costanzo, Jr. and his wife, Lisa of Revere; dear brother of the late Leo Costanzo and Orazio “Ray” Costanzo; cherished grandfather of Sean Pappas and his wife, Nanci of Peabody, Alaina Pappas and her partner, Eric Barrows of Orlando, Florida, Joseph DiRocco and his wife, Cassidy of Saugus, Anthony Crescente and his wife, Samantha of Wakefield, Christopher Costanzo and Darren Costanzo of Revere and great grandfather of Bradley Pappas, Joshua Pappas, Matthew Pappas and Luca DiRocco.

He was lovingly cared for by family and friends, Parc at Harbor View, Neighborhood Pace, Care Dimensions and Right at Home.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the Caggiano-O’Maley-Frazier Funeral Home, Winthrop on Sunday, November 5 from 4 to 8 p.m. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Monday, November 6 at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John the Evangelist Church, 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop at 10 a.m. Services will conclude with the interment in the Belle Isle section of Winthrop Cemetery.

Dorothy Millerick

Member of St. John’s Mother’s Club and Winthrop Senior Center Volunteer

Dorothy M. Millerick of Winthrop passed away at home on October 31. She was 93 years old.

Born in Winthrop, the beloved daughter of the late Celia (Winston) and Albert Reddy, she was a life-long resident of Winthrop. She worked as a secretary for T.F. Harrington Corp and was also a member of the St. John’s Mother’s Club and a volunteer at the Winthrop Senior Center.

She was the devoted wife of the late Paul G. Millerick and the loving mother of Paul T. Millerick and his wife, Marie Lou of India, Robert F. Millerick and his wife, Jayne of Salem, Albert J. Millerick and his companion, Rebecca of Winthrop, Timothy Millerick and his wife, Carol of Texas and Denise Lanza and her husband, Frank of Winthrop; dear sister of the late Rev. Thomas J. Reddy, OMI and Rev. Albert F. Reddy, SJS; cherished grandmother of Ashley, Danielle, Briana, Gregory, Ryan, Elaine, Daria, Kristen, Alexandra and Maura and great grandmother of Andrew, Kaylee and Emmett.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation in St. John the Evangelist Church, 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, November 3 followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Services will conclude with interment in the Belle Isle section of Winthrop Cemetery.
