Ralph “Butchy” Zirpolo

He will be remembered for his dedication to family, service to his country and the many friendships he formed throughout his life

Ralph J. “Butchy” Zirpolo was born in Boston on April 25, 1947 to the late Thomasina (DiCicco) and Ralph J. Zirpolo, Sr. He was raised in East Boston and attended East Boston High School.

Following high school, Ralph proudly enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he served honorably and attained the rank of Sergeant. After his discharge, he worked as a laborer in the construction industry and was a proud member of Carpenters Union Local 33.

Butchy enjoyed fishing, hunting, and golfing. He was also a member of Winthrop Golf Course, where he spent many enjoyable hours pursuing one of his favorite pastimes

He will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his service to his country, and the many friendships he formed throughout his life. His memory will remain with all who knew and loved him.

He was the loving father of Mark Zirpolo of Delray Beach, Florida; dear brother of Susan Locigno and her husband, Phil and the late Loretta Scalfani; loving uncle of Phil, Renee and Anthony and the former husband of Sandra Gallo (Tiso).
