Winthrop’s Odd Fellows Hosts Annual Holiday Dinner For Officers, Members and Guests

Winthrop’s Zenith Lodge of IOOF (Independent Order of Odd Fellows) #42 has long been established as a generous
community-based organization, reaching out to many groups and individuals in Winthrop and surrounding communities. Last Tuesday evening, Noble Grand Geri Laura Gatchell, lodge officers and members and their guests enjoyed an evening at the Winthrop Arms Restaurant. The group took this opportunity to talk about the past year and what’s in the future for the lodge and how to better serve the community. Zenith Lodge is located at 196 Winthrop Street, and meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month at 630 pm. If you are interested in bettering your community, meeting like minded individuals and enjoy being part of an organization that is dedicated to community development, helping distressed and sick people around your community, promoting charity, and providing educational assistance to students in need, then the IOOF is for you. Stop by all visitors are welcomed.
