Hard work paid off for the Winthrop Drama Society. For the third year in a row, they are headed to the semifinal round of the Massachusetts Educational Theater Guild (METG) High School Drama Festival. The preliminary round was held last week at the Neil Shapiro Center for the Performing Arts, and with their performance of “Golem,†came several awards including the following:

The Drama Society will be performing “Golem†in the semifinal round of the METG High School Drama Festival on Saturday, March 16th at Andover High School at 3:30 pm. In preparation, they will be doing a performance at WHS at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, in the Neil Shapiro Center for the Performing Arts.
