Stanley F. Peters of Winthrop passed away on Aug. 27. He was 81 years old.
A member of the Winthrop Lodge of Elks #1078, he was born in Blue Hill, Maine, the cherished son of the late Franklin O. and Ila A. (Boynton) Peters He was the devoted father of Terry Kinlin and her husband, Robert, of Methuen, Stanley F. Peters, Jr. of Winthrop, Kimberly Kinlin and her husband, Kenneth, of Methuen, Michelle Fielding and her husband, Michael, of Winthrop, Carole Wesoja and her husband, Bernie, of New Hampshire and the late John and Michael Peters; adored grandfather of 15 and great-grandfather of two. He was the dear brother of Frank Peters of Pennsylvania and the late Priscilla Walton and the former husband of the late Eleanor Campbell (King). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. John the Evangelist Church, Winthrop today, Aug. 31 at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited. Cremation to follow will be private. Donations in his name can be made to the Kaplan House, 78 Liberty St,, Danvers, MA. 01923. For guestbook, please visit:
