Democratic Town Committee to meet

The Winthrop Democratic Town Committee will meet for the first time of the new year on Wednesday, January 18 at 7:00 PM at the Robert A. DeLeo Senior Center, 35 Harvard Street. The agenda will include a recap of an eventful election season and a discussion on plans and strategy for 2017. We will also schedule our caucus to elect delegates for the 2017 Massachusetts Democratic State Convention.

Voyage to the Other Side

On January 20 at the Hilton Garden Inn, 100 Boardman St., East Boston, there will be a fundraiser benefit for Those Who Can for Those in Need,  with Mediums Kristen Gallagher and Gay Lemons. The reception begins at 6:30 p.m. (cash bar). The Mediums will begin to reach out to loved ones promptly at 7:30 p.m. and will continue for two hours. Tickets are $40 and are not available at the door. For tickets please visit www.twctin.org or contact Judie VanKooiman at 617-462-5719. Please make checks payable to: TWCFTIN. Again, there will be no tickets at the door.
