We want to congratulate former Winthrop High student Nicole Giaquinto on her selection as an NCAA Track All-American, the highest honor for a college athlete. A senior at UMass/Lowell, Nicole was a standout basketball player and track athlete at Winthrop High and she has taken her talents to the next level and excelled to the highest degree.
We’ll be sitting down with Nicole for an interview to talk about her amazing accomplishment and the impact that local coaches such as Warren MacPhail and Peter Grimes had on her career and we’re looking forward to reading her comments.
