Has Spring Sprung?

We sure hope so

The warm weather this past weekend and the disappearance of all but the most stubborn mounds of snow have put all of us into a spring frame of mind as we approach mid-March.

True, it’s a bit early to report that Ol’ Man Winter has said his last goodbyes. But there is no denying that we have been able to see the light at the end of what has been a very long tunnel of a very hard winter.

One harbinger of spring is that this weekend we spring forward and set our clocks ahead one hour. Sure, we’ll all lose an hour of sleep Sunday morning, but it will be well worth it to gain an extra hour of daylight, which will give us at least the illusion that spring is just around the corner.
