“Conversations with the Councilors’ at the Beacon Gallery

Precinct 2 Town Councilor John Munson will be hosting the second in a series of â€œConversations With The Councilors” on Friday, July 8th from 4:00 to 5:30 pm at The Beacon Gallery, 196 Winthrop Street. Attendees should enter through the front door and some off-street parking is available.

This â€œConversations” will be with Vice President and Precinct 6 Town Councilor Stephen Ruggiero, Town Councilor-at-large Tracey Honan, and Councilor Munson.  Councilor Ruggiero will speak on recent Rules and Ordinances that have been enacted, and on the work of the Ordinance Review Committee. Councilor-at-large Honanwill discuss the Fiscal Year 2023 Budget that is now in effect.Councilor Munson will talk about Economic Development in the community including updates on the Old Middle School Site Development.

 Each Councilor will make a brief presentation on the respective topic, followed by a Question-and-Answer Session on that topic. An informal reception with light refreshments will follow.

 All Winthrop residents are cordially invited to attend this event.  It is an opportunity for citizens to learn the status of ongoing projects and issues in Winthrop from the Councilors and to express their own opinions.

 Future “Conversations With The Councilors” will be held on a quarterly basis.
