This past week the Winthrop Marketplace observed its 15th anniversary and we wish to offer our congratulations to Marketplace owner Marc Wallerce upon achieving this milestone.
The Winthrop Marketplace has served a great need in our community, having filled the void created when Liberty Market departed the scene. Under Marc’s direction, the Winthrop Marketplace not only offers great value, quality, and convenience to our local residents, but it is a local business that benefits our town directly in many other ways. The Marketplace employs many local people, including youngsters for whom it is their first job, and is a contributor to many of our local organizations and civic-minded endeavors.
The Winthrop Marketplace is a true hometown market and we look forward to Marc and the Marketplace serving the needs of Winthrop residents for many more years to come.
