Say Hello to Santa

Enjoy the holiday festivities

One of the town’s most anticipated and enjoyable traditions takes place tomorrow (Christmas Eve) when Santa Claus makes his annual visit to the town and receives the honor of an escort from the Winthrop firefighters. Santa Claus will begin his trip with the firefighters leading the way at 4:30 p.m. at Deer Island. Santa will continue his journey through the town, wishing the residents a happy holiday season.

It’s a great tradition and one that the children of our town really cherish. Santa’s schedule of street visits appears in this week’s Sun-Transcript.
