Brownie Troop 70227 Lends a Helping Hand With Richard Honan’s Annual Christmas Care Packages

Richard Honan hosted Winthrop Brownie Troop 70227 last week to tell them about men and women in the military and why we should support them. Honan explained to these Brownies that it can be very lonely being away from family and friends, especially during the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays. He then showed the Brownies how to make a mini care package. He told them how a mini-care package can put a smile on a soldier’s face, a smile in his heart and a smile in his stomach. They proceeded to make almost forty mini care packages which will be included in my Christmas Tree Care Packages.
