It was a beautiful evening for “Movie Night on the Beach†which featured the film “Aquaman.† This year’s event was held on the eve of Hurricane Henri and started out with clear skies and a light breeze. People could watch the spectacular full moon rise over the ocean.Â
Later,  the fog rolled in and by the end of the movie visibility was extremely limited. Got to love New England weather! Thanks to a grant from Save the Harbor, the Friends of Winthrop Beach sponsor this annual Movie Night on DCR’s Winthrop Beach. Members of the committee include  Brenda Bee, Barbara Bishop, Roseann Trionfi Mazzuchelli, Lauren Mazzuchelli and Howard Resnick. Thanks to Chris Mancini and Bruce Berman of Save the Harbor, Calvin and Tim from Boston Audio Rentals and Brian and Nick from DCR who helped make this year’s Movie Night a success.
