Last week the WCWC filled the parking lot of St. John’s Church with lawn chairs and the lottery basket, filled with the numbers of the candidates that applied for scholarships.
All candidates’ names and information must be received by August 5, the sponsor must be in good standing in the WCWC as od Sept. 2021 and candidates cannot receive more than one scholarship. The applicant or sponsor must be present at the lottery and deposit their number in the lottery cage prior to the drawing. This year the WCWC is proud to announce 5 $500 dollar scholarships to be given.
For more information on the WCWC and/or the scholarship fund, please call Barbara Survilas 617-846-9321.
