Town of Winthrop Rededicates Wallace B. McClean Tennis Courts

The Town of Winthrop held a rededication ceremony for the new Wallace B. McClean Tennis Courts. Mr. McClean was a science, physical training, and driver safety teacher at Winthrop High School in the mid-1950s. He received his bachelorâ€™s degree from Rhode Island State College in 1929 and attended graduate school at Harvard University. The original tennis courts and the old Winthrop High School were built in 1965.
