WCAT, The Winthrop Chamber of Commerce and The Winthrop Transcript will sponsor a Winthrop Town Council President Candidates Debate live in the WCAT Studio, on Wednesday, October 6 beginning at 7 PM. Both candidates running for Town Council President have been invited to participate. The Debate will be broadcast live on WCAT channel 22, as well as livestreamed on WCAT’s website at
www.wcat-tv.org.
The panel will consist of a representative from the Winthrop Sun-Transcript, the Winthrop Chamber of Commerce, and Winthrop Community Access Television. John Macero will serve as moderator.
WCAT will be closed to the public during the debate and only the Candidates will be allowed into the building.
