Business Highlight: Piccolo Piatti

Last Wednesday, September 9th, Piccolo Piatti celebrated the opening of their extended patio and menu options. Located on 5 Crest Ave, the sister restaurant to Antique Table is now offering healthy breakfast and lunch options that can be ordered for takeout or enjoyed on the expanded patio that houses eight socially distant tables. Breakfast, served from 7am to 12pm has a complete menu, including omelets, pancakes, Belgian waffles and several coffee flavors.

“We have Columbian coffee used to make espressos and cappuccinos and will be adding more coffee options so you’ll eventually be able to buy it by the bag,” said Lisa LaMonica, Manager of Antique Table.

Lunch, which is served from 12pm to 8pm has an array of healthy sandwiches and create-your-own salad and rice bowl options. The healthy bowls include, beef, chicken, salmon, shrimp and many gluten free options. Fresh homemade chocolate chip cookies and brownies are also available.

Guests are invited to order takeout, dine inside or outside and be on the lookout for the online ordering option that will soon be up and running. Catering is available for up to 100 people and includes dishes from next door at the Antique Table, including the famous eggplant and chicken parmesan plates.

LaMonica said that she’s seen the business pick up since the opening last week and she credits the support of the community.

“Everyone has been so kind; we’ve had a lot of regulars from Antique Table come next door to try it out and we’ve had a positive response.”
