The Town has received notification from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) of two additional residents affected by COVID-19, bringing the number of total cases confirmed to 227; 176 recovered, 24 deceased and 27 in isolation as of Tuesday, May 26.
The Winthrop Community Food Bank
The Food Bank operates Tuesday – Thursday and can accept donations on those days from 11am-1pm. Food is distributed by delivery only. The Town of Winthrop Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is streamlining the COVID-19 response effort to ensure the continued delivery of services to residents.
The EOC can be reached at 617-539-5848, Tuesday through Thursday, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., or by emailing COVID19info@town.winthrop.ma.us.
