Speaker Perrin for a Day

Winthrop High School senior Brian Perrin Jr. had the honor of serving as Speaker of the House during the Massachusetts 69th Annual Student Government Day April 1 at the State House. Perrin is pictured above at the podium inside the House Chambers and Perrin accepted the gavel and presided over a session of student representatives from across the Commonwealth. Speaker DeLeo helped make it a memorable day for the Perrin family and an outstanding educational experience for Brian Jr., who learned about the position of Speaker
and the role of the state legislature during his one-day reign as Speaker.
