Vikings Open Season on Saturday

 

Winthrop Viking Quarterback Chris Zuffante sets to throw last Friday, Sept. 4, and gets a block from Matt Tarantino (33) during the annual Football Jamboree at Everett Memorial Stadium. Winthrop faced off against Malden in their hour-long scrimmage to get the season rolling. The Winthrop football team will face Danvers Saturday at noon in its first game at Miller Field for the year.
