Steve Sweeney, “The King of Boston Comedy,†will be in Winthrop Friday night making an appearance at the Mike Eruzione Winthrop Charities’ comedy show.
Sweeney, who has a role in Denzel Washington’s movie, “The Equalizer,†as the owner of a Boston diner, will headline the show that begins at 8 p.m. (doors open at 6:30 p.m.) at the Winthrop Yacht Club.
