Town Manager James McKenna has announced that the town of Winthrop Grants department is now accepting applications for a HOME rehabilitation project.
Qualified applicants can receive low interest loans through the town to rehabilitate their homes. From small projects to complete weatherization, the town will assist qualified homeowners with the entire construction process.
Funded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the town’s HOME program is ideal for residents who need to bring their property up to code or who need assistance getting major projects completed.
To qualify, applicant must meet federal income guidelines. Funding is available on a first come, first served basis.
