National High School Cheerleading Championship.

The Winthrop School Committee congratulated the Winthrop High School Girls Varsity Cheerleading
Team for placing 5th in the state during the Nov. 24 National High School Cheerleading Championship.
The girls received a certificate of achievement for their participation, and Head Coach
Rachel Mustone and Assistant Coach Stephanie Bono were recognized for their dedication. The
WHS cheerleaders have been fundraising and have received approval during the Dec. 9 meeting
to compete at the ESPN Wide World of Sports in Disney World, Florida, in Feb.
