DeLeo to Hold Winthrop Beach Cleanup, June 22

House Speaker Robert A. DeLeo (D–Winthrop) announced that the annual Winthrop Beach Cleanup will be held Saturday, June 22nd at 9 a.m. Volunteers should meet at the corner of Shore Drive and Dolphin Avenue.

“I am proud to join my friends in Winthrop each year as we gather to clean up our beach,” said Speaker DeLeo. “Each year I’m increasingly impressed by the number of residents who donate their time to such an important effort. Over the past decade I’ve seen the beach become more pristine and beautiful. I look forward to everyone coming together for another successful cleanup.”

This year’s cleanup of Winthrop Beach is co-sponsored by the Department of Conservation and Recreation.
