Winthrop residents have the opportunity to access all CAPIC services at the Winthrop Senior Center, 35 Harvard Street. CAPIC has representatives from each program on-site throughout the week (each program has a specific time) to meet with clients. Programs include: Head Start, Workforce Development, Child Development Center, After School & Summer Camp, Emergency Services, Crisis Intervention (including domestic violence), and Weatherization. In addition, starting on October 24th, people will have the opportunity to apply for CAPIC’s Fuel Assistance Program. Anyone interested in applying for fuel assistance should contact CAPIC’s main office at 617-884-6130 to find out what documentation is required to apply. The schedule is as follows:
