Walkway Dedicated to John Kilmartin

The walkway to the Belle Isle Marsh Reservation was dedicated in memory of John Kilmartin at a ceremony Saturday. Kilmartin was recognized for his conservation efforts at the marsh and his lifelong contributions to the community. Pictured at the ceremony standing behind Mr. Kilmartin’s famous bicycle that he drove throughout the town, are, from left, former Council President Thomas Reilly, Council President Peter Gill, Nancy Kilmartin, family friend Conal Foley, Town Manager James McKenna, master of ceremonies Daniela Foley, and Jane Miller of Friends of Belle Isle Marsh.
