WHS Football Banquet

Winthrop High football coach Sean Driscoll praised the seniors for their leadership and their contri­butions to the program. Winthrop was edged out for the league title in a tough loss to Newburypo­rt. The team rebounded to defeat Revere in the Thanksgiving game. Shown at the awards banquet Sunday night are Viking seniors Mitchell Paulson, Paul Locigno, Matt Stasio, Quinton Dale, Mark Baxter, and James Barker. More photos of the banquet will appear in next week’s edition.
